Case Study: Clearing Six Junk Cars from a North Philadelphia Lot

The problem

A commercial property owner off North 2nd Street had six vehicles that had sat for years — two with flat tyres, one fire-damaged, three stripped. They blocked customer parking and had drawn a code complaint.

What we did

We inspected the lot the same morning, priced all six as a single clean-out, and confirmed which paperwork the owner had for each vehicle. Two needed abandoned-vehicle handling; four had usable documentation.

One flatbed and one wheel-lift truck ran the lot in shifts through the afternoon. The stripped shells went straight to a recycling partner; the two more complete cars were dismantled for parts first.

The result

All six vehicles were gone by close of business. The owner was paid cash for the group rather than charged for removal, the parking spaces came back, and the code complaint was resolved.

The lesson

Multi-vehicle removals almost always price better as a batch. If you have more than one car sitting, quote them together.
